I ask my clients to share a lot of themselves with me, and it’s important that you know me as well! I love that coaching allows for an exchange of experiences, and I’ll open up more about my path toward identifying and activating my strengths, passions, and values as we go.
I love that we’re all gifted in different ways! Helping folks uncover their personal strengths and gain the confidence to declare them is a favorite part of my work. As for me…
I’ve got a broad knowledge of a variety of workplaces. My career has included significant experiences in the public sector, in a large corporation, at a small executive search firm, and in academia. I’ve figured out how to thrive at the relentless pace of the White House, I understand the challenges that can come with corporate culture, and I know how it feels to operate independently.
I’m organized! Really, I’ve never met a checklist I didn’t like.
I’m well-versed in the practices of Human Resources. In addition to real-life experience in recruiting, I’ve spent time studying HR. I earned a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Georgetown University, and I’ve earned the Senior Certified Professional certification from the Society of Human Resource Management. Now, I apply this knowledge through coaching and by teaching talent acquisition at Georgetown.
I’m great at finding the win-win. When you can get to the heart of what matters most to each party in a negotiation, nobody feels like they’ve compromised. I spent years finding the “win-win” for a candidate and organization — aligning an individual’s strengths, passions, and values with the needs of a corporation. I love to learn what energizes people, and to help them discover how to spend more time on those things — creating value for all in the process!
Helping people make progress toward their goals makes me feel like I’m achieving right along with them. I thrive on Identifying obstacles, determining best next steps, and creating accountability around a plan. Seeing others succeed gives me great satisfaction.
I love the experience and outcomes of connecting one-on-one with people. Whether it’s lunch with a friend or a conversation with a client, there’s nothing like that energy that results from two people putting their heads together!
